This traditional home is was constructed near Waseca, MN. Looking like a traditional story and a half Craftsman home, it was designed by Gary Hanson of Prairie Creek Architects.
The exterior of the home is finished with lap siding, cedar shingles and stone veneer. The use of trim boards and roof brackets creates authentic craftsman style to the home. A screened porch is at the rear of the home overlooking the rural vistas surrounding the home. An open porch is included at the front of the home.
The interior of the home is finished with traditional craftsman style oak millwork, flooring and trims. There is a graceful curved arch between living and dining areas. The stair is finished completely in wood, with oak risers, treads, newel posts, balusters and railings. The kitchen cabinets are custom oak units with panel doors and synthetic resin countertops.
